Belarusian fire service
Element of protection
The history of the fire service of Belarus began in the middle of the 19th century. Over the years, its structure has changed a lot, but its mission has remained the same — always come to rescue.
Today, the service is able to perform the full range of rescue operations: from fire suppression to the elimination of accidents in oil and gas pipelines. The firemen are equipped with modern means of firefighting and emergency monitoring, most of which are designed and put into operation by domestic specialists.

Depicted on the stamp and FDC is the emblem of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus, in cooperation with which the project was prepared.

Colour of the postmark — black.

A special cancellation on FDC will be carried out at the post office No.1 of Minsk (shop Philately, 16 Moskovskaya street) on the stamp issuing day.
