70th Anniversary of the United Nations

On August 11, 2015 the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will issue the stamp “70th anniversary of the United Nations”.
Design: Tatyana Kuznetsova. Printing: offset. Colour: multicoloured. Paper: chalk-surfaced, gummed. Perforation: comb 13: 131/2. Size of the stamp: 52x29,6 mm. Sheet composition: 6 (2x3) stamps. Size of the sheet: 27x112 mm. In print process they used the technology of relief stamping & selective mat varnishing on the stamp and MetalFX on the sheet borders. Print quantity: 60.000 stamps.
Letter “H” is equal to the surface tariff of a letter up to 20 gram abroad.
The stamp was printed at the Republican Unitary Enterprise “Bobruisk Integrated Printing House named after A. T.  Nepogodin”.
The United Nations (UN) is an international organization established in 1945 to maintain and strengthen international peace and security, to develop cooperation between the states.
193 states are the current members of the UN. The mission and activities of the United Nations are determined by the objectives and principles set out in the UN Charter.
